Coming back from Somewhere Else, has sharpened my appreciation of Home. The Ireland that I know exists in a duality of heart-warming welcomes, happy reunions and great friendships as well as a mire of social issues, inequality and dissatisfaction with "the way things are going".
I stood on some cliffs. I sat in a car with my friends. We saw the end of a continent.
Ireland: you have flaws and I love you all the same.
